idk about the book… but salsa is a good substitute for Italian salad dressing. Dressing is like 70cal per 2 table spoons – salsa is like 10 or 20. U can get used to it pretty fast too.

Now, the reason why you want to eat whole grain is because they have a lower glicemic index meaning that your body is going to absorb it slower giving you a lower rise in blood sugar causing less fat storage.
